He went home with his tail between his legs

May 27, 2008 § 2 Comments

At around 2 pm, GSIS President and “coup plotter” Winston Garcia went out of the Meralco building with his tail between his legs. He has been heckled and jeered at by Meralco employees. Last minute dilatory tactics by the government through the SEC has been rebuffed. Voting for the new board has begun. And yet, this early, GSIS already conceded a disastrous defeat.

In all radio stations, Garcia received brickbats from radio commentators and reporters. In all websites and print-based outlets, Garcia was pictured as a pig, a corporate raider, a devil incarnate. Today, Garcia was villified and practically was fed to the dogs.

Garcia should blame his publicist for this image fiasco. He lost twice today. He lost his power because Meralco stockholders rebuffed him and he lost his dignity. He’s being pictured now as a lost young boy holding an empty bag.

Poor Winston Garcia. For all his huffing and puffing, nothing amounted to it. Puff. Bluff. Floff. Garcia should go back to Cebu and plant kamote there.

Garcia even went as far as shouting to the employees, ” I HAVE MORE SHARES THAN ALL OF YOU COMBINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Wonder what the GSIS members have to say about that, He OWNS It, HE CAN DO WHAT HE PLEASES WITH IT t (like buy a Juan Luna painting in HK when all we have ARE CALENDARS of sexy starlets peddling beer in our salas), and to HELL to whomever blocks his path.

“I HAVE MORE SHARES THAN ALL OF YOU COMBINED….”

Really, it is ‘What are we in power for?” All over again.
