Circulo Verde: A Place of Harmony & Space

Circulo Verde

Circulo Verde

As what I wrote previously, I am seriously on a lookout for a house. If I can’t afford a house and lot here, I might as well move out of Makati and look for a place even in Quezon City. My requirement is just a place with a lot of space and privacy.

Fortunately someone pointed to me a very nice project of the Ortigas and Company which offers its residents living space right at the very heart of the metropolis.

Freedom and space–that’s what the developers of Circulo Verde at Calle Industria in Quezon City envisioned for this 12-hectare property situated in Bagumbayan Quezon City.

The project is very exclusive, since the developers only wanted to build fifteen residential buildings there. What’s good about this premier residential community I believe is it gives Filipino families an opportunity to experience living an alternative lifestyle. And what’s this lifestyle to begin with?

Looking at the masterplan, I believe that what Circulo Verde wanted to achieve is provide Filipino families with a home that they can call their own at the same time commune with nature.

Circulo Verde follows the natural terrain of that pristine land some distance away from the Marikina river. The sloping terrain gives future residents a staggering and imposing view of the Sierra Madre mountains and the magnificent Manila skyline. One gets to enjoy living in a “green” community; at the same time, tell their friends of how beautiful Manila truly what with that view.

As I look around, Circulo Verde is ideal for a variety of homeowners, from startup families to upwardly mobile professional and empty nesters, since it offers a variety of layouts fit for one’s tastes. The place is quiet, albeit with the chirping of the birds, yet still within reach of Eastwood, and of course, Ortigas Center. It’s near Ateneo and UP. I figured, it only takes about 25-30 minutes if you use C-5 to reach Makati.

What’s sooo good about this is that, as I observed, the place maximizes the area’s natural features to strike a harmony between nature and the demands of fast-paced living. You can definitely live, work and play in Circulo Verde.

Uniqueness. That’s what Circulo Verde is definitely all about. You can walk in the garden and alongside the Marikina River (I hope it does’t flood though) and enjoy the pristine fresh air. Just around the corner, there are shops, restaurants, gyms and health clubs.

What’s more, as a resident of Circulo Verde, you save more on electricity since the place is cool. It has terrific sunshine. You wake up in the morning, feeling refreshed.  I figure, about 70 percent of the area would be allocated for open spaces, roads and neighborhood facilities.Trees planted throughout the Circulo Verde community will provide buffer from the industrial properties across the river, providing residents with a vibrant and lush green ambiance. Some buildings, developers say, will cover two floors. Gardens will be devoted to greens and blooms, giving residents some pocket gardens where they can hie off for a breather.

Foot paths and jogging paths will give residents some space to exercise, as well as playgrounds and a variety of swimming pools. For pet lovers, there’s a dog park.

At the center of the premier community will rise a town center where retail space and modern conveniences will likely provide residents with whatever they need. Shops and restaurants, grocery stores, water refilling stations and laundry shops are also in the pipeline.

The first phase covers 5 residential buildings on a 2.7 hectare area within the property. Right now, they’re developing Ibiza Tower and Majorca Residences.

Ibiza Tower is a 23-storey residential building that offers one to two bedroom units, with floor areas ranging from 44 to 80 square meters. What’s unique to Ibiza are its bi-level unites, great for those who need space.

Meanwhile, Majorca Residences boasts of an 11-storey residential development, with units having one, two and even three bedrooms, with floor areas ranging from 42 square to 107 square. That’s a lot of space for a condo, mind you! All units have balconies.
