Ted Failon cleared of obstruction raps

Philippine police authorities just cleared ABS-CBN news anchor Ted Failon of obstruction charges. In news reports, QC prosecutors said that in order for the charge to stick, there must be a crime committed first. In the case at bar, QC prosecutors said that there was still no established crime and that the maids did the cleaning of the bathroom and other areas in “good faith”.
CPD probers are still not ruling out homicide or even parricide. The NBI has yet to release its own findings. Philippine Justice secretary Raul Gonzales said that he has tasked the NBI to immediately finish its probe and file appropriate charges if necessary.
Meanwhile, talks are rife that Ted is going back to his regular anchoring job.
I don’t know about you, but I think that Ted is still not yet ready to go back to work. I mean, witnessing the death of someone up close and personal, that’s traumatic. It would be best for Ted to just cool for a while, maybe return to work after, say 3 months?
