Melo’s relative influenced COMELEC bidding?

How true is this news that I got that the corporate counsel of the winning bidder in the COMELEC automated election system has a familial relations with COMELEC Chairman Jose Melo?

I checked the previous clients of Jose Melo and found that the attorney on record of the bidder happens to be one of the closest relatives of the chairman.  And this counsel reportedly influenced the conduct of the bidding process.

A losing bidder is preparing its legal case against COMELEC (Commission on Elections).

Likewise, there is also doubt as to the credibility of Atty. Ferdinand Rafanan. Just recently, COMELEC declared that the machines of the winning bidder is “99.95%” ACCURATE. I asked my computer friend and you know what? For someone to determine that high an accurate rating, there must be a testing of 20,000 units.

The elections is getting to be messier by the day.
