Angelito Alvarez promise: one big fish every week. It’s now Thursday and no big fish in sight

Angelito Alvarez, new Customs Chief of the Philippines

Customs Commissioner Angelito Alvarez last week, made a promise to DZMM broadcaster Ted Failon. He says that he will present one big fish every week before the media to prove his “undying” commitment against graft and corruption.

It is now a week after he made that public declaration. And no big fish in sight.

What’s happening, Mr. Alvarez? Using an old fishing net, maybe? Or, your bait is not that juicy and delicious?

Or, you are still conferring with your old buddies over there, and trying to convince someone to “take the fall” for and on behalf of the Old Boy’s Club?

When you can’t do what you promised, don’t make the mistake of making one. You should be ashamed since your boss, President Noynoy Aquino always try to do what he promised.
